If you’ve booked your outdoor boudoir session at the Pink Lake near the Spiral Jetty—get ready for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. This remote location is about 2.5 hours from Salt Lake City and offers stunning, surreal views, especially during golden hour. You’ll be surrounded by wide-open skies, salty pink water, and the kind of raw natural beauty that makes you feel wild and free. Most clients say it’s the most empowering and freeing thing they’ve ever done. We’ll be shooting on natural salt flats and rocky terrain, so there are no restrooms, shade, or cell service—please plan ahead. Bring water, sunblock, bug spray, and comfy shoes for the short walk to the shoot location. Most clients change on-site, so wear something easy to slip out of, and bring any outfits or accessories you want photographed. The lake’s pink tones are best from late spring through early fall and may vary with the season. You'll receive the exact GPS pin 24–48 hours before your shoot. What to Expect while on location
No bathrooms, no shade, no service—just raw desert beauty
Windy, salty air + possible bugs near water
We’ll walk across salt flats and rocky shoreline (nothing crazy, but not a paved trail)
Expect to feel like a wild goddess by the end 🔥
What to Bring
Water (at least 1–2 bottles)
Flip flops or Old Tennis Shoes to walk to the location
Optional: easy slip-on boots or barefoot once we’re on set
Sunblock & bug spray
A towel or small blanket to sit or change on

Here’s how to style your session:

Lingerie sets: Bralettes, strappy pieces, or high-waisted bottoms work beautifully

Go Bare: Want to go full nude? You totally can. The landscape makes it feel natural and empowered
