What to Expect at Your Boudoir Session

From the moment you step into our Salt Lake City studio, every part of your experience is handled with care. Creating a transformative boudoir experience is just as important as the photos themselves.

Before Your Session

You’ll receive a session prep guide tailored to your shoot (studio, outdoor, or themed)

  • You’ll need to bring your own outfits—we’ll go over options beforehand

  • The client closet includes accessories only (think: body chains, harnesses, and glam add-ons)

  • Professional hair & makeup is available with VIP packages or as an add-on to any session—come with clean moisturized skin and dry hair if you booked Hair & Makeup. If you did not, arrive Hair & Makeup ready. Touchups can be done at the studio.

  • Shaving, tanning, or waxing is totally optional—just do what feels right for you. If you tan make sure to rinse it off the night before or morning of your session.

  • Light stretching before your session can help reduce tension and enhance your posing comfort

  • Get answers to all your questions: wardrobe, nerves, posing, privacy, and more

DAY of Your SHOOT

  • We’ll go over your wardrobe and vibe, and I’ll guide you through every pose

  • You don’t need to know how to model—I’ve got you every step of the way

AFTER your SESSION

Your private Zoom image reveal is scheduled 1–2 days after your shoot

  • You’ll choose your favorite images and create your custom package

  • Payment plans are available—no pressure, no rush

  • Albums and artwork are custom-designed and delivered to your door

    Bare Necessities – $150
    Includes 1 outfit, 1-hour session time.
    Hair & makeup can be added for $150.
    Perfect for those who want a simple, bold experience.

    Classic – $349
    Includes 2 outfits, professional guidance, and full posing support.
    Hair & makeup can be added for $150.
    Best for clients who want a little more variety and image options.

    VIP – $850
    Includes hair & makeup, 3 outfits, extended time, and exclusive bonus perks.
    Full-service experience with all the glam and luxury included.

    Each session comes with a private image reveal and the opportunity to select your favorite images and products afterward.

  • Hair & Makeup is automatically included in the VIP session. If you've booked a Bare Necessities or Classic session, it can be added for $150. We'll confirm your glam preferences during the booking process.

  • That depends on the package you choose during your reveal. You’ll see all your photos first, then select only what you LOVE!

  • Or comprehensive prep guide is designed to help you shop with your own creativity so that your session is tailored to you. Bring 2–3 outfits that make you feel amazing—something soft, something bold, and something totally you. Our studio closet includes accessories like body chains and harnesses to layer on the drama.

  • You don’t need to know a thing! I’ll guide you through every movement and pose from your fingers to your toes. All you have to do is show up and trust the process.

  • Absolutely! This is extremely important to us. If you’d like to keep your images private, you can — no questions asked. Of course, we love featuring our incredible clients! Your images are never shared without your full written consent. Privacy and trust are everything here.

  • Absolutely! Flexible payment options are available both before and after your session. The Boudie Bank is a great way to Pre-Pay. We’ll go over everything at your image reveal. Keep in mind that image and product processing won't start until your invoice is paid in full. Contact us for more details.

  • Sessions often fill 1–3 months in advance. If you’re planning around a gift or special event, earlier is always better!

  • That’s totally normal—and it usually disappears within the first 10 minutes! Everyone and i mean EVERYONE gets the Jitters. But I’ve Got you! You’ll be 100% supported, hyped, and guided the entire time.

  • Nope! You can go as bold or as modest as you like. This is about your comfort and confidence.

  • You're welcome to bring one support person if it makes you feel more comfortable! Just let me know ahead of time. Also keep in mind if they are watching you pose it can actually make you feel more uncomfortable depending on the person. But your always welcome to bring someone over 18

  • We offer luxury albums, wall art, digitals, and keepsake add-ons. You’ll see all the options at your reveal!

What to Wear + Pack for Shoot Day

Get comfy, feel confident, and show up prepared. This checklist walks you through exactly what to wear, what to bring, and how to prep your body and mindset before stepping in front of the camera.

What to wear to the studio:

  • Super loose, comfy clothes (nothing that leaves skin marks)

  • No bra or underwear if you can swing it

  • Slides, sandals, or easy slip-on shoes

What to bring:

  • 2–3 outfits you love

  • Accessories, jewelry, and personal touches

  • Water and a light snack

  • Lip balm or touch-up makeup

  • Hairbrush or clip

  • Small towel or blanket to sit/change on

Stretch it out:

  • Gentle stretches the morning of your session help reduce stiffness

  • Focus on neck, shoulders, hips, and back

  • Twist, reach, roll your shoulders—it doesn’t have to be fancy, just get loose

Prep your vibe:

  • Play your favorite hype music

  • Try an affirmation like “I am powerful. I am beautiful. I am enough.”

  • Deep breath—you’ve got this 💫
